The beauty of the 6x8 ring binder album is that not every page has to be a big page with a big story. Some stories, although traditional, can be simple. Straightforward. And even a little whimsical. This lesson creates a simple 4x6 pocket page that rings in the lighthearted ways we can celebrate December. We will create an interactive design that can be useful anywhere, with room for documenting the memory of this cup of cheer.

Build this page on a 4x6 pocket page.

Trim decorative vellum to fit inside pocket.

Trim a piece of white cardstock 3x4. Center it over the decorative vellum. Slip vellum inside pocket.

Cut out ‘a cuppa cheer’ from the 12x12 cut away papers. Cut both. Trim out the ‘a cuppa cheer’ sentiment from one of the cards.

Find the cup from the Laser Cuts. Use foam adhesive to adhere over the cup on the 3x4 card. Add botanicals to the top of the cup. Layer the ‘cuppa’ sentiment with foam adhesive over the other one.

Score a ½ inch from the top of the cut away card. Add double sided adhesive. Adhere to the top of the pocket overlaying the blank card underneath.

Add circle taps to the edge of the outer card.

4x6 photo can slip in the back of the pocket.
