4 | LITTLE STORIES
This lesson is all about capturing the smaller stories that make December shine — the fleeting moments, cozy rituals, and tiny joys that often go unnoticed. We’ll create an interactive acetate page layered over patterned paper, featuring five liftable sections for journaling and embellishment. Each prompt invites you to record a little story — from favorite treats and morning routines to spontaneous laughter or quiet evenings by the tree. This project celebrates the beauty in the everyday and invites you to document December one small, meaningful story at a time.
Cut acetate 7 x 8 ½. Use pocket template to cut out holes.
Die cut 6 circles to be about 2 ½ inches diameter in solids of 3 different colors. Adhere in a grid format to acetate.
Using the front circles as a way to hide the adhesive, adhere a piece of pattern paper that measures 6x8 to the back of the acetate.
Die cut 5 circles to be about 2 inches diameter from white cardstock.
You will also need ¼ inch strips of paper in a high contrast pattern.
