In this lesson we turn our hearts back to home.  Utilizing a 2x2 pocket page, we will document scenes from around home. Favorite decorations. Quiet corners. Cozy stills. What’s baking. It’s a grid of small stories that tell of decked halls and boughs of holly. Ha! Or however it is you like to make home cozy and bright this time of year. So take another pause, but this time take time to notice the beauty of home.

There will be plenty of space for photos on this grid.

First top middle grid: trim a piece of acetate to be 4 x 2. Fold in half long ways. Slip one half into pocket. Add sequins to pocket. Tuck fold into pocket. Staple sentiment to back and front of pocket.

Second row first pocket: Add foam adhesive to laser cut botanicals. Adhere one to front and another to the back. Create notched banners and tuck in and under the botanicals.

Second row last pocket: Choose a circle element for the front and back. Die cut a circle shape from pattern paper. Layer the front circle over the pattern paper. Pierce a hole. Secure with a brad to the pocket. Adhere the other circle element to the back side.

Third row middle pocket: tuck decorative vellum inside pocket. Gather label, a couple of sentiments and layer over the pocket. Repeat on the back side.

Fourth row first pocket: trim pattern paper to 2x2 and slip inside pocket. Find two tags same size. Add trim to each. Use foam adhesive to adhere each to the outside of their respective pockets.

Last pocket: trim pattern paper to be 2 x 4. Score at the 2 inch mark. Fold over in half. V Notch the front flap. Slip back half 

into pocket. Embellish front flip.
