In this lesson, we’ll slow down and create with intention — crafting a handmade pocket page designed to hold layers of story and meaning. Together, we’ll build a dimensional pocket and four embellished tags that can hold journaling, advent scriptures, prayers of St. Nicholas, or any reflections you wish to include. This project is both creative and contemplative — a space for artful making and mindful documenting. Each pocket and tag becomes a small vessel for your December thoughts, gathered together in beauty and grace.

Trim pattern paper 6 ¼ wide by 7 tall.                                                                                            Use pocket page to make binding holes. 

Craft pocket with vellum of choice. 

Trim vellum 7 ¼ wide and 4 tall. Score ½ in on three sides to form pocket. Fold and add double sided adhesive to the outside of the fold. Adhere to page.

Trim pattern paper 6 ¼ wide and ½ tall. Distress edges. Adhere to top pocket edge.

Print tag template from printables. Cut out template. Use template to cut out four pattern paper tags. Punch holes at top. Distress as desired.
