Maybe perhaps you are a scrapbooker who is now a memory planner. Or maybe not, but there is still something to be gained here I think.

Maybe you still dabble in full page scrapping along with keeping a planner too.

Maybe you feel really confident in your scrapbook pages but not so much inside the planner pages because it feels different.

Totally get that.

I can’t say that I work in my memory planner pages the same as I do in my scrapbook.

Or do I?

That’s what this lesson is all about.

Let’s scrap the planner.

Let’s relax. Take a deep breath. And think about something.

Let’s think about what it is that you do on your scrap layouts, and can you translate that right over to the planner page.

I really want you to think about this.

Wish I had a worksheet or something but I don’t even know what that would look like.

As I begin this next full week process video on this planner week, I am doing what I would do on a scrapbook page. While working these ideas out, I will be sharing them with you, of course. Talking through the thinking behind the technique.

But wait…you have homework to do.

I want you to write down 5 things that you (almost) always have on a scrapbook page and I want you to think about how you can incorporate that on your planner page.

No! Really. It will be fun.

For example, things I really love to have on a scrapbook page would include:

Photo - check!

Interactive elements

Title

Embellished clusters

Ribbon or twine

Labels

Layers

OK…so that is more than five…

And now I am going to work those elements on to this planner week.

And you know what else I’m a gonna do?

Have fun!
