05 | Got Pockets?
Well, ya gotta have pockets! At least one. Er...wait a minute. She made a last minute adjustment on the fly. There may actually be more than one pocket. So yes, we got pockets!
Watch how it all comes together.
FOLD OUT POCKET AND MORE!
Best to use 12x12 paper for these next few pages:
Trim first paper to 10 ½ inches wide and 8 inches tall.
With back side of the paper facing up, score on the right hand side at ½ inch.
Keeping paper on the score board, move to the right until the left edge lines up at 5 inches. Then score again.
Fold all the scores.
Add adhesive to the top side of the paper at the ½ score then layer over the vellum strip on the binding.

From the ephemera choose a piece about 4 inches wide x 6 inches tall. These are not hard and fast dimensions. One could also trim a piece of pattern paper to the same dimensions.
Measure ephemera piece to the next mini page as shown in the video:
Mark the height and cut.
Mark the width two times and score on those lines. This will be creating a sort of accordion book, if you will.
At this point adhere the ephemera in the middle of the book to the previous ½ inch binding piece by adding adhesive on the 1/2 fold on the back side of the ephemera.
Apply ½ In Double Sided Adhesive to the back of the ephemera on three sides creating a pocket.
Adhere the accordion paper to the back of the ephemera so that it creates a pocket.
Fold the last panel back so it covers the packaging information (this is based on the paper I am using) and then adhere in place creating a mini page behind the pocket.
