Gather the Things
One of the first things I do to begin projects is GATHER.

Then…
When I know ( and I always do) that I am going to be utilizing foliage die cuts, I like to cut a bunch of that up first. Using the pattern paper shared in this video I did just that. For building projects and layers these pieces are key to the making. So my suggestion is that you do the same.
