Unique inside cover idea. Incorporate an interactive 'inside the cover' page that invites the viewer to explore further concealed spaces perfect for journaling, photos or story. And of course, embellished clusters.

1 6x8 pattern paper

Trim ½ off the top (or bottom if pattern prefers)

Score ¼ inch on each long side.

Trim down the middle at 3 inches to have two pieces that measure 3 inches wide and 7 ½ inches tall.

Fold the score lines.

Round the inside corners.

Mark about 3 inches down and ½ inch in on the inside edge of these newly cut in half papers.

Use that guide to punch a hole.

Using a hole reinforce punch or die to make 2 hole reinforce pieces. Adhere to the punched circles.

Add strong adhesive to the inside of the ¼ score marks and adhere to the page with a gate effect about a ¼ inch from the inside edge. Watch video for details on this.

Repeat with the other side of the gate.

Use twine or ribbon to close the page.
