Art Chronicles is an invitation to spend creative days exploring the beauty of art journaling. Through layers of color, ink, stamping, stencils, texture, and thoughtful details, we'll create pages rich with story and expression. Moving at a slower pace, you'll build a collection of finished spreads and backgrounds while nurturing a meaningful creative practice.

Art Chronicles is an invitation to spend six weeks slowing down, exploring new art journaling techniques, and making simply for the joy of making. Together, we will layer color, texture, marks, paper, and found details into pages. This becomes story telling.
This class is not about perfection or producing a polished final project. It is about showing up to the page, experimenting, practicing, and discovering what happens when we allow ourselves the time and space to create without expectation. Time & practice.
These journal pages, background building, and thoughtful techniques, will strengthen your skills while cultivating a deeper connection to your own creative process.

Hi! I am Jamie Pate and I love to make and create from paper, stamps, inks, dies, and anything else that I can layer on a page. I hail from the Front Range of Colorado. You can very often find me hiking, visiting the newest coffee shop, thrifting, reading or cooking a huge meal for all my people.
You've got questions. We've got answers.
As long as the class site is up and available. And I do not plan on going anywhere soon.
There is not a class kit. However, I do provide a full supply list as well a tool list. Inside the class you can access the supply list plus links to purchase exactly what I will be using.
This class is not LIVE at this time. It will be available on June 19 2026 at which time you can jump right in. Lesson 1 will be available June 19. Subsequent classes will be released for 5 more weeks after that.
